"Restore our Earth"

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd every year and this year's theme is ' Restore our Earth'.

But ,we as conscious brand strongly feel , that everyday is Earth day and if you feel the same, here are 5 simple practical examples that you can stick to in your daily life to make better difference and help restoring our only home i.e earth !

1. Eat More Plant- Based Diets

Eating a plant-based diet is one of the easiest ways to have a positive impact on the environment. Researchers have found that not eating meat and dairy products can reduce a person's carbon footprint by up to 73%.So , we need to change our diet to fight climate change .Non-veg. eaters can start by small steps , like try meatless Mondays i.e one full day in week eat only full plant based diets and slowing switch to more plant based diets.

Since we all are at home ,watch the following inspirational documentary/talk to know why and how you should switch to plant based diets

2. Waste less and save more

Availability and accessibility of resource like water, electricity does not mean , we can over use or waste these resource. In fact , privilege of having more, implies more responsibility to use these resources efficiently.

On average, 40% of global CO2 emissions are emitted from electricity generation. Save electricity by turning off the devices you do not use and the lights when you leave the room ,this doesn’t cost anything extra for you and in fact, you’ll probably see your electricity bill go down and obviously help reduce carbon foot prints.

Water is becoming more scarce due to climate change and there will be even less water to share among us in future .Save water by simply twisting the tap when you brush your teeth or when you shampoo your hair while taking a shower. Reuse it after washing clothes in kitchen garden . We only have .007% of the Earth’s water available to fuel and feed its 6.8 billion people.
