Our Story
An attempt to bring back craft not only for the livelihood of the artisan but to preserve our culture and heritage through them so as to further educate the future generations, Kirgiti was born with the story of a craft lady from Bharmour named 'Kirgiti'. A blind artisan woman who had nothing to look up to but seemed so self-contained, so happy, so positive about life, and when asked about the secret of her happiness she murmured her secret through a poem which according to her had the ability to change people's life through happiness. This led to the birth of Kirgiti with a mission to bring back craft in our life and happiness in those who have kept it alive all these years. Currently working with 4 different groups, 60 artisans, and 4 different crafts from all around the country.
