Bandhej/Bandhani : बंधेज/बांधानी

Bandhani  is  the Indian version of ‘tie and dye’ .The term bandhani is derived from the Sanskrit verbal root bandh (“to bind, to tie”).The patterns formed in Bandhani are way finer and typically  small circular patterns – the ‘dots’ or ‘specks’ motifs, created using skilled tying - using fingernails, iron-nails etc.

Currently we are  working with 100 artisans from Sikar district in Rajasthan to create our collection .
